Ingrid de Oude has been involved with professional website design since 1999. She started as an office manager and main tech support person at an Internet provider, webhost and webdesign firm and in a matter of no time she was also involved in designing websites and sales.
In 2004 she spread her wings and started her own website design and photography business, Blue Snow Imaging, in the Thunder Bay, Ontario area. That way she could combine her website design skills with her life-long passions: photography and writing.
With a degree in Educational Psychology she knows a thing or two about how people read and remember information and keeps that in mind in all aspects of the development of a website.
While Ingrid started by hand-coding websites in HTML, she now works with WordPress. Her commitment to her clients and personal approach never changed. Several clients have been with her since the start of Blue Snow Imaging and she has designed several websites for each of them in that time frame.
In 2020 she moved to the Winnipeg area, where she continued working for her existing client base, but also managed to secure new clients in Manitoba, despite the lock-down and being totally new to the area.
That and especially the quality of her work didn’t stay unnoticed.
Forest On-line Marketing Solutions was looking for a new head website developer and Ingrid was happy to get noticed and grow her Winnipeg and area client base further.

Ah….the power of high-quality photography. Photos can draw you in, help build trust and make reading a website a whole lot more fun. Some readers will more easily remember what they have read if an image gets presented that illustrates the written words. That is why just a pretty picture won’t be good enough to us. The words will have to support the imagery so it serves a purpose and blends in beautifully.
